Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Southeast Behavioral Services serves families in Knoxville, Seymour, Oak Ridge, Maryville, Morristown, Oneida, Sunbright and surrounding cities of east Tennessee. We are seeking a BCBA to join our small but growing team to provide behavior therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorders. We provide in home services throughout East Tennessee, and provide some in school services in Knoxville, Tn.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducts thorough, functional behavior assessments and develops effective behavior intervention plans
  • Communicate with funding sources regarding client progress, reports, meetings, authorizations, etc.
  • Completes data analysis, graphs, and develops and updates FBA /BIPs on as needed basis.
  • Completes all data collection, daily logs and graphing requirements for each session including objective and constructive notes.
  • Models, coaches and provides positive and constructive feedback to Behavior Therapists 
Qualifications
  • Active BCBA certification
  • Active Tennessee State license to practice behavior analysis or ability to obtain one.
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in designing and/or implementing evidence-based treatment for children with developmental disabilities, autism, and/or challenging behaviors.
  • Working knowledge related to the following tools is preferred: Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), Assessment of Functional Living Skills (AFLS), PEAK Relational Training System

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Southeast Behavioral Services serves families in LaFollette, Tn and surrounding cities. We are seeking an RBT to join our small but growing team to provide behavior therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays. We provide services in our clinic in Morristown, as well as in the clients homes or in their communities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must enjoy working and playing with children.
    Provide behavior intervention services in-home and in school.
  • Provide direct ABA therapy to clients with autism spectrum disorders or other developmental delays.
  • Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
  • Work in a professional manner, adhering to the ethics and confidentiality requirements of our field.
  • Collect, analyze, and update data; organize/create materials, research activities, etc.
  • Fill out session notes accurately and timely after each session.
  • Engage in on-going staff training as needed. 
Qualifications
  • Active RBT certification or the ability to obtain one.
  • Undergraduate degree in psychology or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities preferred.
  • Have a working knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, kneel, or engage in other positions for extended periods of time.
  • Must have reliable transportation to travel to various areas where therapy is provided.
  • Active CPR certification or the ability to obtain one. 
  • Desirable candidates must have a strong work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work well as part of a team, strong written and verbal communication skills.

Administrative Assistant

Southeast Behavioral Services serves families in East Tennessee providing ABA therapy to children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental delays. We are seeking an administrative assistant to join our team. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage initial and ongoing appointment scheduling for clients and RBTs, ensuring optimal use of available billing codes.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for ABA therapy sessions, assessments, and other clinic activities.
  • Manage rescheduling and cancellations, while effectively communicating changes to all parties involved.
  • Assist with the intake process for new clients, including gathering necessary documentation and information.
  • Support therapists and other clinic staff with scheduling needs.
  • Record-Keeping and Documentation
  • Wait list and referral list management
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including session notes and billing information.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant confidentiality requirements.
  • Assist with updating client billing systems and reporting as needed.

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and respond to important tasks quickly.
  • A professional, yet friendly phone and email demeanor.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Works well in teams and has the ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and stressful environment.
  • Some knowledge of ABA
